Safety And Specifications

Safety

The Safety is a major factor in the design of soapboxes. Full harness seat belts, roll bars ,hand protection straps and an approved helmet with a visor are complusory as are long pants and shoes.

New drivers are gradually introduced into the sport progressively starting further up the hill then going solo for a few meetings before racing with other drivers.

For safety, if the track is wet, racing will be cancelled and rescheduled to the altenate race day.
